Heebee Post #287 - D.C. Spaulding - Lomita, California - USA

4th Dimension security continues to be on alert for the detection of the confounded and wily Jackalope. Despite our best efforts, Jackalope scouts have been spotted on Heebee Island. Those members of the vanguard have been rounded up and unceremoniously ridden of. The threat of a Jackalope invasion is a real one and guests here should promptly report any further sightings.
No one can ever be certain of what this Artist is doing, however he is becoming a local favorite as Islanders are grateful for these Public Service Announcements regarding this Mail Art Nemesis. This is my favorite D.C. postcard. I like that profile testing - fear not Heebee Visitors - we'll be okay. Love that Western Jackalope Artistamp too. And that insidious rascal is even in the Bar coding - clever!. Thanks D.C., a classic!

Heebee Post #286 - Parys St. Martin - Durango, Colorado - USA

In this incredible picture you can view the membranous wall that surrounds and contains the 4th Dimension. Inter-Dimensional travel is accomplished by a separation in this colorful and filmy barrier.
What a beauty! Parys returns to the Island in grand form with this gorgeous psychedelic nebulae-like card. Thanks very much Parys - it is spectacular! Like to see more of her Intersellar Overdrive work? Try here: Emotional Digital and her Mail Art Collection here: MA from around the globe.

Heebee Port #285 - Horst Baur - Munich - Germany

Mail Artists from all over the world are beginning to clamor for a chance to visit Heebee Jeebeeland and the 4th Dimension. As the message of an Island Paradise vacation, specifically created for their stressed-out and troubled minds, becomes common knowledge around the planet - some governments are forbidding Trans-Dimensional travel.
Welcome to the 4th dear Horst. I am thrilled to find this crowd of peaceful demonstrators speaking up for themselves. After all, it is official Heebee Jeebeeland's official policy to allow all Mail Artists - from all countries in the real 3-D world into the 4th Dimension and have some fun! Set the Mail Artists free! Thank you very much - superb postcard!

Heebee Post #284 - Art Tower (Gunter Schwind) - Aschaffenburg - Germany

Refreshment stands are a common sight, here on the Island. There is something about Heebee Jeebeeland that seems to increase the appetite and the Heebee Resort will accommodate you with a wide assortment of delicacies!
Cousin Arty is a great cousin and very accustomed to Island perks and yummies while he is here. This is a super postcard - thank you very much my dear friend. He has a Mail Art site: Art Tower Mail Art. See ya in the Post Gunter!

Heebee Post #283 - Sarah Sliz - Austin, TX - USA

This magnificent decorated envelope was delivered to Heebee Jeebeeland this morning and Islanders are just ecstatic about it! Peering out from the 4th Dimension psychedelic Jungle in a glory of colorful feathers, this fellow certainly appears as something to be reckoned with! Fantastic work! And get a eyeful of that wonderful celestial arrangement - Nice!
Well, the 4th Dimension is sure happy to find Sarah reveling on the Island with this superb submission. What a knockout! Just love this piece! It has a great far away 4-D feel to it too! Thank you very much my friend - see you in the mailbox soon!

Heebee Post #282 - Wilma Duguay - Bonaventure - Canada

Nice to be greeted by Mail Artist Wilma Duguay and her friendly Shetland Sheepdogs. Hi there! Nice to see you are having fun with your handsome companions. Are those really yours? Bonaventure sure looks like a nice place and yes, of course those "Funsters" are allowed here on the Island.
Thank you very much my friend. Thanks for not being a stranger to the 4th and it is nice to see your smiling face back on the Island. Find her Mail Art collection regarding the Sea here: The Sea exhibition.

Heebee Post # 281 - Stan Askew - Pasadena, CA - USA

The new Heebee show classic "Playing for Jesse" is now being performed live on the Confuse-A-Tron Lounge stage and it is real rollicking western fun for the entire family. Guns, fiddles and Rodeo Queens - Yessir, a special round-up is in store for Cowboy enthusiasts of all ages here in the 4th Dimension!
Stan is a familiar celebrity here on the Island and always has great postcards and this one doesn't disappoint. The Jesse on this card really looks like she means business and is probably quite a handful of trouble if she so desires. Thank you very much my friend. Stan has quite a collection of his beautiful postcards here: Photo Askew.

Heebee Post #280 - Lynn Palmiter, Jr. and Elizabeth Zois (The Dak of Droll) - Troy, NY - USA

The 4th Dimension says: "Don't be a don't Bee - Do be a do Bee" (Okay, stole that from "Brother Buzz", the conscientious Bumble Bee marionette - Circa 1960). The 4th Dimension has always looked upon the Bee as a noble creature. Nice shot you guys!
Who knows where Lynn stops and The Dak begins? They are a likeable duo and it is Lynn who actually made the slip cover for the much cherished "Mail Art Novel" - which is still being passed around and written at IUOMA. See: IUOMA Mail Art Novel. I like that A & P Industries stamping too. Nice to find you guys on Heebee sand and thanks very much.

Heebee Post#279 - Jonathon Hannaby - North Wales - UK

"Guess who's coming for dinner"? This handsome devil turned up in the 4th Dimension with a sunny disposition and headed straight for his fiance's suite - where she is staying with her folks. Will wedding Bells be breaking up that old gang of his? Dress rehearsal is tomorrow at the Confuse-A-Tron!Welcome to the 4th Jonathon. A super acrylic painting of Ol' Frankie on his last days of being single. He may be up late this evening hanging out with the boys. Hope he doesn't get into mischief and accidentally tear off a door or break a toilet or something. Thank you very much Jonathon. You can see more of his work here: Hannaby Artvark.

Heebee Post #278 - Brad Baucom - Deadwood, South Dakota - USA

Yes, the 4th Dimension is the perfect getaway for Artists that are painfully "Art Saturated" in the 3-D real world and ipso facto, "Art Detox" ready. At least once a year in Heebee Jeebeeland ought to be remedial enough for even the most stressed out Van Gogh types. And then back to the 3rd Dimension for Art Retox!
Looks like Brad arrived in the 4th Dimension just in time. Just being in the Heebee Territories will release him from the Artistic bondage that enslaves the 3rd Dimension. Welcome my friend. I really like your Fluxus Dakota address stamp. Sweet! And that stamp collecting postage stamp is a great commemorative as well. Nice! If you would like to see Brad's Mail Art round-up click here: Live 2B's Mail Art. Thank you very much.

Heebee Post #277 - Dosankodebbie (Deborah Davidson) - Toyohira-ku, Sapporo - Japan

Even 4-D monkeys fall from trees. I love the character of this friendly looking guy's pensive little face. This particular Art style is called Etegami folks and I am completely enchanted by it. My Mom is Castillian (Spanish) and used to tell me "In the house of glass - he who doesn't slip will fall" (translated). Yes, everyone makes mistakes - everyone!
Dosankodebbie is a big hit in Hebee Jeebeeland - ask anyone here! This beautiful postcard is laminated and will make a great addition to my collection of her charming work. Her super Etagami Notebook is a fantastic site, if you are interested at all in the dynamics of this traditional Artwork. She also has a Mail Art site: Dosankodebbie's Mail Art Gallery. Thank you very much - I love this stuff.

Heebee Post #276 - Nacy Scali - Claremont, CA - USA

Heebee ATC's! 4th Dimension interior decorator Nancy Scali returns to the Heebee Resort with this pair of lovelies to to enhance the Confuse-A-Tron Lounge furnishings. I couldn't quite capture the granduer of these two properly, but believe me, they are luscious and gleaming - even with the broken sea shell on that little fella to the left.
A coin operated U.S. Mailbox for people who have letters - and no stamps? Yes, you simply have to click on the image above to read about the magnificent "Mailomat". Nothing is more travailingly true than the message in the lower half. Conversely, the same can be said in reverse: Mail Art days are happy days! Everyone knows that! It is so nice to find Nancy back in the 4th Dimension again - she has been one of my favorite Mail Artists for a good while now. Thank you very much my dear friend.

Heebee Post #275 - Coralette Damme (The Crafty Hag) - St. Petersburg, FL - USA

The Seas surrounding Heebee Island are teeming with bizarre aquatic life forms. This large, handsome and noble looking fellow has been seen very near the shoreline of the 4th Dimension the last few mornings. He sure is a graceful denizen. It is also adorned with 7 Seas jargon around the perimeter. Spectacular!
What a fantastic Linocut print, embellished very nicely. This grand postcard is quite large - about the same area as an A4 size. It has a great feel to it as well. The Crafty Hag has really created a keeper here and Islanders applaud this Mail Art effort. Please give Ol' Dread our 4th Dimensional best. Find the legendary Pirate here: Dread Lippencot's Menagerie.
Looks like the 4-D critters from Coralette's mini invasion are also on land and in the air! All things great and small - not satisfied with the 3-D real world - are welcomed in the Heebee Territories. Find more about the Crafty Old Hag's beautiful prints here: The Crafty Hag. Thank you very much Coralette!

Heebee Post #274 - Karin Winter - Colorado Springs, CO - USA

The Heebee Jeebee Love Boat sets sail for a three hour tour of 4-D Jungle lagoons. The crew sure appears festive! And just get a load of the "Cocodrilo" Artistamp. Nice! Also seen here is a "Good Mail Day" sticker from the Pod Post Mail Art book - love that book!
Karin arrives on the Island with a gorgeous decorated envelope that states "I am an empty envelope, so do not open me". Obviously, she tries to fool us by throwing us off course for finding the prize within! - 3 minutes later - Well, guess she was right - good thing I scanned the envelope before I foolishly opened it, rendering it into a shredded mess! Heh - heh. Thank you very much Karin and welcome to the 4th Dimension. This busy Artist really has got it goin' on - find out here: Karin Winter Art. Very cool website!

Heebee Post #273 - Art Tower (Gunter Schwind) - Ashaffenburg - Germany

The wonderful Mail-Artist-Go-Round is a popular attraction in the 4th Dimension. You may recognize a couple of the riders seen here. Further evidence that cousin Arty does actually vacation in Heebee Jeebeeland. Imagine being suspended by a gigantic spectacular churning Alexander Calder-like mobile! Only in the 4th my friends......only in the 4th!
Nice to see you here again dear cousin. This is a great postcard - love it! Gunter tells me that he will physically return to the Island Paradise for troubled Mail Artists minds - perhaps in September. Looking forward to that! You can visit cousin Arty's Mail Art site here: Art Tower's Mail Art.
