Heebee Post #345 - Valery Shimanovsky - Nizhekamsk, Tartastan - Russia

I wish I understood Cyrillic. This happy and festive looking event is a superb postcard. A wedding? A honeymoon in the 4th Dimension would be a nice choice for the Whirlish dancing duo.
I really enjoy Valery's work and am delighted to see him visiting the Island once again. I love those interesting rubber stampings and the great Russian postage too. He also asks for a USA 25 cent piece for his collection. There are a lot to choose from these days - I'll get one out to ya my friend. Thank you very much.

Heebee Post #344 - Joan Desmond - Lake Isabella, California - USA

Reach out your hand, so that I may grasp it and pull you to safety. Wow, this is a fabulous card Joan. Like mankind groping into the mysterious, seeking desperately to understand - in perfect spirit with the 4th Dimension.
It's marvelous to see Joan frolicking in Heebee Jeebeeland with this glorious postcard. This is a large and beautiful submission and I am having a tough time taking my mind away from it (Help! It's pulling me in!). I adore this card. Thank you very much Joan.

Heebee Post #343 - Art Tower (Gunter Schwind) - Aschaffenburg - Germany

Cousin Arty shares a snap he took of a Heebee Jeebee Bird that took a fancy to him during his last visit here on the Island. Nice Artistamp too!
It's nice to know that Arty always has a great time of it when visiting the 4th. His unusual antics can sometimes lead to trouble. But, as we are often wont to say here, "Fortune favors the bold"! Thank you very much my friend. You can find Gunter's MA site here: Art Tower's Mail Art.

Heebee Post #342 - Maria Hechler/Petrick (Sis Tower!) - Aschaffenburg - Germany

A familiar site along the Lost Void. A large expanse of the Trans-4D Frontier that is unstable and dangerous for explorers and scientists.
"Sis Tower"? Wow, Hi ya Sis! Gunter recruits sister Maria to try her hand at Mail Arting. Well, Maria, that is a pretty cool postcard. Love it! Nice to meet you and keep up the good work! And thank you for flying Interdimensionally!

Heebee Post #341 Janet Heritage - Wheat Ridge, Colorado - USA

For the rugged Trans-4D-Frontier explorers, day to day existence can be a challenge. Hunting expeditions are often thwarted by bizarre circumstances. The intelligent Frontier animals may have something to say about being hunted - they don't appreciate it at all. This is a great card.
I like the reverse side of this super postcard as well. There are some gorgeous multi media adornments in her work and they can be pretty striking. Great Planet2Janet postage too!
In a frenzy of 4th Dimensional production, Janet manufactured a veritable plethora of submissions to the Heebee Territories. The Heritage contingent will require nearly an entire floor to themselves in the Heebee Resort. Thank you very much Janet. Very nice to see you back in the 4th dear girl.

Heebee Post #340 - Lothar Trott - Zurich - Switzerland

Get a load of this beauty! Dedicated Dada Fluxist Lothar Trott revisits the Island with this cool "One Step Beyond/Twilight Zone" Pokuland postcard. It has the weird melodrama of the old Black and White TV shows look and feel to it. Nice one Lothar!
The 4th Dimension is very happy to see dear Lothar after a long while away. His unique style is always engaging and fun - and in this case, rather mysterious looking. I like that disrupted Artistamp as well.
Lothar's cryptic messages are always written in a Dada-ese scrawl. I like the brilliant formula that ends his nebulous note: (Fluxus + Dada + Love + Art) The beauty here is that this equation shows no conclusion and/or result! Like Zen! Pokuland continues to astonish Heebee Jeebeeland. Love this card Lothar! Thank you very much and see you soon in the Post Box.

Heebee Post #339 - Parys St. Martin - Durango, Colorado - USA

The Obscure Oracle of Desire. The majesty of the Island's Oracles is hard to deny. A chance meeting with this shimmering being could betray your sensibility regarding love and lust in the 4th Dimension. As if a powerful Cupid, many torrid affairs have been manifested by this creatures whimsical love prophecies.
Sure is a nice day in the Heebee Territories when Parys joins in the action. Nice to see you here again, especially with such a magnificent card. These deep 4-D jungle enigmas are always a pleasure to behold - thank you very much. She has a great eye-popping website: Emotional Digital. Have fun!

Heebee Post #338 - Roland Halbritter - Nuedlingen - Germany

"Blackbird singin' in the dead of the night - take those broken wings and learn to fly". Artcard voting result. This is one of eight modified images that Roland made from John M. Bennett's Artistbooks.
He has marked off the voting choice I had made - apparently not the winner. It is great to have Roland here in the 4th and this interesting Fluxus contest is a fun Dada-antic experiment. Thank you very much. You can find other puzzling Mail Art evidence involving Roland and his current call : Otto Von Bismarck. Also his CollArtage project. And now, the interesting Art Caree project - Opening May 8.

Heebee Post #337 - Coralette Damme (The Crafty Hag) - St. Petersburg, Florida - USA

I thought I had heard a foot stepping. A Heebee Island Snapdragon is pogo-stomping through the 4th Dimension and evidently having a blast by the looks of it's grinning face. These are care-free, happy-go-lucky creatures and smartly attired as well.
The Crafty Hag returns to Heebee Jeebeeland with her newest 4-D pet "Skippy". Nice to see you again my dear. Thanks very much for the jolly card. You can find Coralette having more fun than a hopping Pupsterfoot here: Dread Lippencott's Menagerie. See you soon in the mail my friendly Hag!

Heebee Post #336 - D.C Spaulding - Lomita, California - USA

D.C.'s classic Mail Art Geisha having problems with the Mail Art she is receiving. On closer inspection you can find some pretty robust Mail Art characters names. I had just been reading John Held Jr's accounting of Guglielmo Achille Cavellini (see his famous sticker above, in the center) - fascinating and incredible! Spaulding's postcards are sometimes rich with Fluxus, Dada and Mail Artist commemoration. Gotta love it!
Take a moment to read about this enigmatic, amazing, confounding and lovable Mail Artist/Fluxist from the annals of Mail Art History here: Cavellini 1914 - 2014.
Heebee Island is always very happy to have DC and his work here on the Island. You can see a nice slice of Who's Who in the Mail Art pie within this well-known card. Thanks for carrying the torch my friend - love this card.

Heebee Post #335 - Super Aska - Maylands, Western Australia - Australia

Super Aska has an interesting Art scheme. Ambitious too. The above piece is only a small part of the original painting that is now distributed to other Artists worldwide in an "Invisible Exhibition". Sounds like 4th Dimension thinking to me!
I have seen Aska around the IUOMA site and she is very likable and enthusiastic (although I haven't actually met her except now, through this Mail). If you would like to participate in this unusual affair with her - email your address to her - aska.doll@gmail.com. Or, you can see what else this fine Artist has been doing here: Super-Aska Art. Thank you very much Aska and welcome to the 4th Dimension.

Heebee Post #334 - RCBz - Saint Cloud, Minnesota - USA

"I know, let's put a hat on him"! Owning a Kafka-like "Ungeziefer" (an unusual insect pet found here on the Island) can be a delightful experience. Here, we see a couple having fun with their new pet "bug" in the hat department of a Heebee Resort Boutique. Doesn't their charming friend look swanky now?
RCBz returns to the Island with another outstanding Heebee postcard. These cards are of a beautiful construction and high quality. Very nice for the 4th Dimension. I love the hungry walking hand on the reverse side as well. Thank you very much my friend. Something should be appearing in your post box soon!

Heebee Post #333 - Adamandia Kapsalis - Chicago, Illinois - USA

Procuring a crouton for a Brain Salad can be a messy culinary business. This tasty treat will not be found on the menu in the Confuse-A-Tron Lounge restaurant, as it is only for very special occasions and is quite expensive for obvious reasons.
Adamandia bares her wicked sense of humor with this dark yummy treat postcard. Islanders have been joking about this all morning. Thank you very much Adamandia. You can check her fun MA sites here: A Fishy Requisite and Synaptic-Patina. Keep an eye out for something from the 4th in the Mail Box my friend.

Heebee Post #332 - Art Tower (Gunter Schwind) - Aschaffenberg - Germany

"Tourist on the border" is what Cousin Arty's lovely postcard reads. Gunter sends in this commemorative card that recalls his wonderful trip to the 4th Dimension last summer. His card refers to the Dimensional border that separates the Heebee Territories from the 3-D real world. You can see my dear cousin in his motorcycle attire on the left - a special outfit for his festive vacation here.
Everybody here in the 4th is expecting Gunter to return to Heebee Island later in the year. We sure hope this exciting rumor is true. An interesting itinerary awaits him when he does. The Island rolls out the red carpet for those adventurous enough to make the trip here. Love the Gingerbread Man coming alive from the textile pattern and the cool Artistamps. Find Gunter operating his Mail Art control center here: Art Tower Mail Art.

Heebee Post #331 - Sharon Kennick - Flagstaff, Arizona - USA

"Cathedral of the Ancients". An ancient site of worship in the Fauxreal Republic - Sharon Kennick's realm of interest. You can really get the feel of a spiritual upheaval here - very active goings on, like staring into the open maw of a busy ethereal volcano. I'll put the brochures for this place on the Heebee Resort info table - a nice day trip from the Island!
Sharon Kennick is a lively and happy soul with a lot of zeal for what she does. I really like this other-worldly card, I just wish I could display it properly here - it is better seen in person. Welcome to the 4th Dimension my friend - I'll be sending something to you and Kris soon. You can find Sharon holding court in her very feel good Art blog here: Divine She Studio. Thank you very much my talented friend.
