
I like the ambiguous appeal of
Frip's exhausted athlete block print. The viewer did not see the event that has just finished and so, has no idea as to the competitor's status. Defeat? Triumph? It is difficult to tell. Little tales of speculation entertain the imagination nicely.

Frips, back for a visit. I love that stamp. Notice also, how she likes to adorn her postcards and envelopes with postage overlapping the edges - giving it that sort of
