Roy's triumphant "Pope Warren Loosening the Nuts" postcard smacks of all kinds of sardonic veiled innuendo. And as he further explains below, "There would be no mechanistic interpretation of the Universe while he was in charge". Roy's compiling imagery is almost always stunning in it's brilliant psycho-dramatic appeal.

Side "B" of Roy's eye-popping extravaganza boasts in Latin: "I love the smell of WD-40 in the morning. It smells like ........the Orthodox!" - An amusing twisting of the popular phrase actor Robert Duvall uttered as he stood victoriously in front of the burning jungle in one of my favorite films, Apocalypse Now. When I was a kid, there was an old cartoon I saw many times on TV. While a child was sleeping, the unusual wallpaper all over his room came to life and began to dance back and forth, up and down in a rather fanciful symmetry accompanied by a sort of goofy graveyard mischief music. All manner of mayhem went on until the sun shone again at dawn and the dancing pranksters rushed back to their original spots and the wallpaper became still again. It is in the vicinity of that realm that Heebee Jeebeeland exists.
