Heebee Post #117 - Brent Leopold - Camp Hill, PA - USA

"We were dancing in the moonlight.......". Yes, visitors to the Island will always have fond memories of letting go, even for the shyest of wallflowers, in the Confuse-a-Tron Lounge's "Land of a Million Dances" 4-D Discotheque. Step into the brilliant swirling spectacle of Trans-Dimensional String Theory lights and have the time of your life!
Brent has become a familiar guest on the Island and one that continues to demonstrate his 4th Dimensional prowess with this very cool assortment of his Art style. Thank you very much. What else is this Artist up to? Find out here : myartprofile.com/bfrag or myspace.com/frontpocket

Heebee Post #116 - Jennifer Zoellner - St. Petersburg, FL - USA

4th Dimensional "Hit the wall" tile-work adorns much of the Islands facilities and this is one example of the many variations of Island handiwork that can be found decorating the Confuse-a-Tron Lounge party booths. This particular one is called "The Pigolito Booth"
Good thing Island celebrity artist Ms. Zoellner is once again cavorting in the 4th Dimension because Island residents have been missing her of late. Love the Heebee postage Jen, thanks very much. There is still time to be included in her Chromatophore Mail Art Show in August. Check here: jenniferzoe.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #115 - Lindenhof - Winnemark - Germany

Heebee Jeebeeland emergency provisions include wonderful medical services for any calamities that may occur during a visit to the 4th Dimension. If you have a moment and would like to aid in furthering the quality of the Island Hospital services - please remember to donate some blood today. This has been a public safety announcement.
This curious postcard arrived today to remind us that sometimes vacations, even in the fantastic 4-D paradise world, can take a nasty turn. Yes, there is plenty of reality, even in unreality. You'll see here: behinder-mich-nicht.de (German only). Thank you Lindenhof for this sobering card.

Heebee Post #114 - Yarnpunk - Kodiak Island, Alaska - USA

Here Kitty, Kitty........It is rather amusing to see the faces of 4th Dimensional visitors when they first behold the Phantom Cats that roam about Heebee Island. The Children, and many adults, often want to take one back home to the real 3-D world when they discover how affectionate they are. But these are not real cats, but only ethereal spectres of frolicsome cats. And, in fact, you can't really even pet them as they are visual only. Their feline antics, however, are sure fun to witness.
This is really a magnificent card in it's construction. It is difficult to display it's features properly here, but you can see it is heavily stitched on very interesting what looks to be hand-made paper with a clear plastic sheath on the front. Quite nice! Yarnpunk can sure make a super postcard! Thank you very much. Find out more about this fine artist here: spinning-on-the-edge.blogspot.com and also here: theseamailart.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #113 - Wilma Duguay - Bonaventure, Quebec - Canada

"There are places I'll remember....". Remember the song "In my life" by the Beatles? Well, step into the Truth Chamber, a recent attraction that blends the metaphysical and science together in a tasty, yet potent drink that, when swallowed, allows each person's "truths" to be revealed. Relax in the comfortable surroundings as your mind takes you back through your life like a film that tells everything that was good about you through your years.
Hi Wilma, glad to have your spirited and fun personality back on Heebee sand. The Island has missed you! Thank you so much for this very interesting notion you have sent. I think I need another sip of your intriguing sauce. Surely there must be something good about me!

Heebee Post #112 - Frances Haney - Gulfport, FL - USA

The accommodations here on Heebee Island range from the luxurious to the strange and spirited. Above we see the "Pinocchio Room". Children love to squeal in terror when the peculiar noises start up in the dead of night. These "Fright Rooms" are quite popular and reservations are required - often well in advance.
Fran writes that she hopes we will have a great summer on Heebee Island. In the 4th Dimension, the holiday season is perpetual - it just doesn't end. Glorious sunsets are a daily occurrence and so is the fun. Thank you so much Ms. Haney - nice to see you here again (and Teri too)!

Heebee Post #111 - Richard Canard - Carbondale, IL - USA

There are few that can match the eloquence and Heebee panache of 4-D Philosopher Richard Canard as he cavorts and frolics around the Island Territories. These photos were taken on Kerouac-esque "side trips and from my leisurely morning walks" that Richard enjoys taking.
This last snap is of the prestigious reception Richard received upon his initial arrival to Heebee Jeebeeland. The 4th Dimensional winds of change began to blow that day.
Once again, our dear Canard has entertained magnificently with his odd brand of wit and art. The Heebee locals all know and adore him very much and he is clearly enjoying his Hemingway-like status here. Thank you for this great offering my friend.

Heebee Post #110 - Jacque Davis - St. Louis, MO - USA

It may take some courage to enter through the 'Doorway to Heebee Jeebeeland". Most prefer Trans-Dimensional Airlines, but actually the "Doorway" is much more adventurous. This way please......just down the corridor.....yes, yes.....just keep going......soon you'll hear the sound of waves.................... Yes, yesss......Buooohaahaaahaa! Welcome to the 4th Dimension.......saved you a seat in the Confuse-a-Tron Lounge! Enjoy.....relax.....please, by all means, be yourself!
Jacque unleashes this wicked cool postcard upon us all and Heebee Island couldn't be happier. She writes: "May your door always be open wide". Sweet. Thank you so much for this fabulous postcard. Love this interesting technique and want to try it myself (she draws digitally). Check out her luscious handiwork: www.flickr.com/photos/jacquedavis/

Heebee Post #109 - Barb Tippery - Centralia, WA - USA

Hungry, hungry Hippos! 4th Dimensional rivers and streams are teaming with all forms of wildlife and the grandeur of it is often awesome to observe. These playful creatures can be found roaming and swimming in rivers near the border of the Trans-4D Frontier - in all their splendor! These Hippos are very similar to the 3-D real world ones - except these Hippos are known to smile!
I am so delighted that Barb decided to visit Heebee Jeebeeland. She is a tremendous illustrator as you can see above. A gorgeous postcard! Thank you very much Barb and welcome to the 4th Dimension.

Heebee Post #108 - William L. Philyaw - Shawnee, KS - USA

Over the years, many have posed in front of the Heebee Island Tourist Bureau as it is often the initial stop for those that are visiting for the first time. Here is a vintage photo of just that.
Since the Tourist Bureau Tower is one of the taller buildings on the Island, it has helped many unguided visitors as a landmark for which to gain direction if one becomes confused or lost.
This interesting Tourist Bureau postcard came adorned in beautiful time honored U.S. Airmail postage. I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we are very glad to find you having fun here again on Heebee shores. Thank you very much William. addressee.blogpost.com

Heebee Post #107 - Andrea Jay - Staten Island, NY - USA

"You drive me ape, you big Gorilla!" is a popular Attraction that is enjoyed by many here on the Island. Step inside the chamber and watch the mirrors with glee as you morph into a large ape and back again. Occasionally, before the restraining walls were added, guests might panic beholding themselves in Simian form and dash out into the jungle in incoherent delight.
Welcome to the 4th Dimension Andrea and thank you very much for your "Monkey Business" postcard. She is also known as the "Hilarious Assistant Principle" and we think that is great. The world definitely needs more of those.

Heebee Post #106 - Shivablack - Berlin - Germany

It is easy to tell by the numerous smoke signals emitting from the jungle canopy and the non-stop beat of Island drums, that Shivablack, Mistress of the 4th Dimension, has returned. And once again, Heebee locals are completely entranced by her presence.
A kind of exuberant delirium and party atmosphere descends upon Heebee Jeebeeland whenever Shiva B. is on the premises.
Even those that are seldom seen wander in from the 4-D Frontier to see what the fuss is about.
Shiva B. requests that her Triptychon stay in her favorite room and that a lovely basket of fruit be provided.
All this wonderful Art arrived in this glorious envelope, suitable for the majestic collection of Heebee Jeebee fanfare that always accompanies Shiva B's visitations. Thank you very much for such a fun and splendidly done assortment of great Mail Art. Find out more about what she does: shivablack.blogspot.com

Heebee post #105 - Richard Canard - Carbondale, IL - USA

There are many portraits carved into the Island Mountains celebrating the more popular personalities in Heebee Jeebeeland. One of those honored in this fashion is Richard Canard, although, as he writes: "I am not at all pleased with my likeness".
Canard, resident 4th Dimensional Artist and Heebee Jeebee Laureate and all around bon vivant, happily reports in with this "Mt. Rushjob" postcard. Nice to see you again Richard and thank you very much.

Heebee Post #104 - Coralette Damme - St. Petersburg, FL - USA

From time to time, the Heebee Jeebeeland Visitors Bureau will randomly seek out new 4th Dimension guests at random from the real 3-D reality world that most folks live in. If you are lucky enough to get one of these eerie invitations, do not be alarmed. It will most likely turn out to be the finest and most enjoyable vacation of your life. The Islanders have a tremendous regard for Coralette's exciting visits here. Another great postcard from her has set a festive tone for the day in the 4th Dimension as everyone here recognizes her very fun artistic style. Thank you very much Ms.Crafty Hag: http://www.craftyhag.com/

Heebee Post #103 - R.F. Cote - Quebec, QC - Canada

"I see a bad moon rising" is sometimes sung by the Island inhabitants when the Spotty Moon is in full bloom amid the Dancing Lights Sky Festival. There are many types of meteorological phenomena that occur in the 4-D atmosphere above Heebee Island and this particular one, although infrequent, has been a favorite for the guests since the Confuse-a-Tron Lounge Observatory room was first constructed.
There are also some wonderful fashion hints to consider on this fine postcard as Reg returns to the Island in outstanding form. This card is quite large and more beautiful than I can properly display here. Thank you very much! The Canadian postage is quite nice too. Also included is that piggy bank Artistamp that states "Cease the culture of insurances". and "Support the St. Pierre ratio". Reg? rfcote.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #102 - Jennie Hinchcliff - San Francisco, CA - USA

Sometimes it can be a lot of fun for just the guys to get together and Heebee Island is no exception. A "Men's night out" occurs every blue moon in the 4th Dimension (yes, the Moon actually turns a fierce blue). No offense ladies, but this event is quite a hoot and is immensely enjoyed by Island men.
Jennie is back in the 4th Dimension and it is very nice to see her again. She acknowledges her absence from Mail Art for a short time and writes "Thankfully she (Mail Art) is patient and forgiving when I disappear for awhile. Hope you feel the same way". Well, I do feel the same way - and even if I didn't, I would still be quite happy to find you here again dear girl. After all she is a Pod. Not sure what that is? Find out:

Heebee Post #101 - Lothar Trott - Zurich - Switzerland

The 4th Dimensional "Lightbulb" went on in Pokuland  and this interesting communique showed up in Heebee Jeebeeland. Always written in "Poku-Dada" the message reads: "Now the Bulb move(s) into the shadows for more Mail Art". Good news or an ominous threat?
I always get a kick out of Lothar's cryptic Dada Mail Art style and am pleased to find an issue of it here on the Island. Welcome to the 4th Dimension Lothar! And check out those gorgeous Pokuland Artistamps. Very nice! Thank you very much my Swiss friend.
