Heebee Post #143 - Katerina Nikolstou - Thessoloniki - Greece

Among the guided tours available on Heebee Island for photo taking opportunities, there is the Tower Tour. These majestic towers appear all over the 4-D Territories and they are awesome to behold. Built in tribute to the Island's curator (Test Tower), they stand in wondrous triumph, signifying the independence of the 4th Dimension from the 3-D real world's attempt to control and tame this brave new existence.
Varying in shape and size, these amazing monolithic structures keep Heebee Island visitor's cameras happily clicking away.
As stated on this Mail Call invitation, this is your last chance to send in your submissions for exhibition (Deadline: Sept. 15). Heeebee Island is proudly sending something this week and perhaps you may want to consider doing the same. This project can be found here: sketbe.blogspot.com
Katerina had so much fun here recently, that she decided to jump back into the 4th Dimension to show off her splendid Tower photos and resume her cavorting. I like your thinking Katerina and we are certainly glad to see you here once again so soon. Love your IUOMA artistamps, those cool rubber stampings and also that great pair of Grecian postage stamps. Thank you!

Heebee Post #142 - Brent Leoplod - Camp Hill, PA - USA

H1N1 precautions seem to calm those that worry about a Swine Flu epidemic. Heebee Island offers wonderful medical support and hosts a super clinic for those with any health calamities or concerns. Not to be outdone by real 3-D world health safety - the 4th Dimension offers a double shot for those that aren't easily satisfied. Brent returns to Heebee Jeebeeland with a funny jab at some of our worrisome guests. Thank you very much my friend. Find more of Brent's work here: google.com/prifiles/frontpocket00

Heebee Post #141 - Charline Adams - Olympia, WA - USA

Up, up and away! 4th Dimensional flights and aerial tours of Heebee Island are impressive and quite a treat for Island visitors. With such unsurpassed beauty and astounding sights, this type of Island tour is very popular with just about anybody that feels the urge to get a bird's eye view of the Trans-4D Experience!
Charline lands perfectly on the Heebee tarmac with this fabulous postcard! Vintage aircraft never looked better than flying through Heebee Jeebee skies! I have met charline and she is a very fun artist to know. Thank you so much my friend for your lovely 4-D contribution. You can see more of what she does here: thecharmakes.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #140 - Lorraine Kwan - Vancouver, BC - Canada

Mail Artists take note! No one is ever sure of what becomes of their artful submissions through the post after a call is over. Behold, a wonderful usage of collected Mail Art! This documentation of Lorraine's "Feed Me!" Mail Art call is also a picture of her actual table setting! The 4th Dimension cheers on this beautiful and splendid functional project and urges you to see how she made this extraordinary display: iuoma-network.ning.com/video/mov03084-1 .
Lorraine is a very fun loving Mail Artist with a grand sense of humor and continues to delight Heebee Islanders with her postal antics. Thank you very much for this great documentation. You can find her "Feed Me!" site here: paperandpostage.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #139 - Ivan Zemtsov - Yoshkar-Ola - Russia

Recognize this handsome fellow? If you have been a Mail Artist for any length of time, you should know that this is Russian Mail Art giant Ivan Zemtsov. He visits Heebee Island looking, as usual, quite debonair. This card is from Chelyabinski - which had the nickname of Tankograd for a while, because it had once manufactured a vast amount of Tanks there.
Ivan has hosted two ongoing Mail Art Calls for quite a while now: "Alyonka" and "Sputnik" and has produced fantastic world class showings of both. He now invites us to join in his new Mail Art Call "The Road to Life". Find it here: mincult12.ru/kyrlya . Seen above is a beautiful "Spring trip to Italy" artistamp and his trademark Mail Art rubber stamping - not to mention some fine Russian postage stamps. Thank you very much Ivan - nice to see you here - in the 4th Dimension!

Heebee Post #138 - Donna Han - Spokane, WA - USA

This young lady is about to lift-off to the 4th Dimension in her custom made Test Tower Angel Rocket. She has broken through to the resolve "I love my life. Finally" and has made the monumental decision to travel to Heebee Jeebeeland to claim her new happiness! We, here on the Island, salute you dear girl!
This envelope is decorated with good thinking. Donna has a Mail Art project that asks for a pic or drawing of your bed. Send to Donna Han - 24 S. Crestline St. #4 - Spokane, WA - 99202 - USA. Deadline: Feb. 2010. Thank you very much Donna for your uplifting card!

Heebee Post #137 - PC (Tic Tac) - Starnberg - Germany

Even in the pleasant surroundings of 4th Dimensional Island paradise, nerves can become frayed. Heebee Island does, however, offer humorous relief for these occasional maladies. Here we see a fellow waiting for his sweetheart in one of the many fabulous boutiques found in the Heebee Resort area. Being a good sport, he has donned a face neutralizer so as not to appear agitated. What a gentleman!
I had to show off this great rubber stamping that was found on the other side of the interesting envelope. I love the personalized stuff like this.
More fun rubber stampings decorate this festive looking envelope. Also some nice looking Deutsch postage too. Interestingly, she writes: "Where's the Party"? - and points to my address! Well Mail Artists, if any of you are ever cruising up or down the I-5 Interstate corridor between Portland and Seattle - stop by for a visit. I love meeting other Mail Artists. Thank you so much Patrizia for this lighthearted look at Heebee culture. Loved it! She has a Mail Art call for "Bubbles". Find it here: tictac-bubbles.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #136 - Torma Cauli - Budapest - Hungary

As you can see, Island visitors are flocking to this unusual structure that is found in the remote and rugged foothills of the Trans-4-D Frontier. Known as the "House that Cauli Built", it is shrouded in mystery and legend. You do not enter this building unless you agree to keeping the incredible secret that dwells within. Want to know what that secret is? So does everybody! Catch the next Helicopter from the Heebee Jeebeeland Resort and find out for yourself. Or, you can always ask Cauli.........
A lovely Flight Attendant from the Heebee Air Fleet greets all that intend to board. She looks like she may have come from Nicole Eippers "Piggy One" Mail Art site. Thank you very much for this mystery house postcard my friend. Cauli is an excellent Mail Artist - visit his site tormacauli.blogspot.com and I'm sure you will agree. Also, I must add that I love Hungarian Postage stamps and also Cauli's Mail Art rubber stamping.

Heebee Post #135 - Roxanne Clark - Taos, NM - USA

Besides the fabulous and wildly popular Confuse-a-Tron Lounge and the formal established surrounding grounds and beaches that make up the Island's resort area, there are many campgrounds that vary in type and style for adventurous guests that like to get away from the crowd. Above we see one of the floating platform campgrounds that hover high above the jungle canopy. 4th Dimension technology at it's best makes this form of family style camping possible. Platform hopping is also a new attraction for Island thrill seekers.
Roxanne has returned to plant her feet into Heebee sand and we are certainly glad she has. What a terrific postcard she has rendered for the 4th Dimension viewers. She also poses a brain twister question asking what would be the status of her home should the Earth prove to be bi-polar. Anybody want to field that query? Leave any possible answer in the comments area below. And check out old Ben Franklin in those vintage postage stamps that were used on this card. Very nice! Thank you very much Ms. Clark and it is sure great to see you here again.

Heebee Post #134 - Jennifer Zoellner - St. Petersburg, FL - USA

It's nice to see that Folks are primping up for their Heebee Island Paradise vacation experience for the troubled minds of Mail Artists. It is not entirely necessary as the 4th Dimension is wholly acceptable of all Mail Artists no matter how attired or adorned. Heebee Island does provide their many facilities with superior hygiene products to ensure proper health while visiting this fantastic realm.
The words "Audax at Fidelic" appears on Jen's postcard. It translates to "Bold but Faithful". Does this apply to Bingo playing as well as life in the 4th Dimension? Perhaps, even more so! Thank you for this great postcard Jen. Boy has she been busy lately - Her Chromatophore Mail Art show is coming right up. Stay tuned.
Also received this beautiful invitation to the Chromo show. If you are anywhere near the St. Pete area (Florida) you really should consider going to the opening. It will be quite a lively affair! August 27th everybody! Find more details regarding this awesome display and happening below.
This show should really be a whopper for Mail Art enthusiasts. Thanks for all you do for the medium Jen - You are a Gem! jenniferzoe.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #133 - Katerina Nikoltsou - Thessaloniki - Greece

The remarkable Blue Grass Waterlands is called home by a variety of incredible Heebee Island creatures. Here we see a pair of graceful Swamp Dolphins showing off and racing through the gorgeous purple 4th Dimensional Bayou.
Mail Art 2009 Greece! Mail Art call: "No to Violence - Yes to Create - The Limits" (This theme is also an important foundation of the 4th Dimension). Also: "A Mail Art scientific conference will join the events held there". I would love to hear that! Read about it above or visit: sketbe.blogspot.com for more info. Deadline is Sept. 15 2009.
Heebee Island swampland is a lovely purple blue aquatic playland that is acrylic etching and collage. And some great Grecian postage also adorn this beauty. A very nice looking rubber stamping "Femail Artist" and a pleasant sounding note are found here. Love interesting stampings like this. Thank you very much Katerina and I shall take you up on the invitation to the Mail Art call. See you in the Mail my friend.

Heebee Post #132 - William L. Philyaw - Shawnee, KS - USA

The Confuse-a-Tron Lounge in all it's 4th Dimensional fashion magnificence. Every guest on Heebee Island should be able to find an alcove or area, complete with service, that will suit them splendidly - thus ensuring moments of physiological grandeur that is just clobbering and sustainable for hours on end. And with a party atmosphere that is Other-World Class, there is simply no match in the 3-D real world. What is called Magic in some places is the new reality in Heebee Jeebeeland!
Messages conveyed by jungle drums throughout the Island has made everyone here aware that William has returned with this engaging submission. Always a pleasure my dear friend. In typical Philyaw style, he has adorned his mail art with spectacular vintage U.S. Postage! Thank you very much! Want to see what kind of art he receives in the post? Check here: addressee.blogspot.com

Heebee Post # 131 - Art Tower - Aschaffenburg - Germany

The 4th Dimension String Theory Light Show blazes down upon this very lively Go-Go dancer in the Confuse-a-Tron Lounge Discotheque. Psychedelic and mesmerising, this is a perfect example of the wild abandon that dancers are constantly achieving here on Heebee Island. That's the spirit!
My dear cousin Artie (Gunter Schwind) really delivers the shock and awe that Islanders here have become accustomed to. Appearing this week as the wicked cool DJ Art Tower, locals and visitors alike are really getting down to the fabulous mind-bending beat he brings to the table. He sure got a groove on with this card! Thank you Gunter, love it. Also enjoying those great artistamps you decorated the back side with. Nice. You can visit Art Tower here: arttowersmailart.blogspot.com

Heebee Post #130 - Henning Mittendorf - Frankfurt - Germany

An amazing and glorious illustration of Heebee Island shown with it's outlying provinces, including the Trans-4D Frontier Territories, in all it's splendor! Note the power plant (the local inhabitants had demanded clean nuclear power if the Heebee Jeebeeland Resort was to come to fruition there).
Thank you so much Henning for this absolutely splendid vision of the 4th Dimension. Some cryptic philosophy adorns the reverse side of the card. I think I know what it means, but it is over 100 degrees here today and my brain has turned to boiling mush, so no interpretation from me just now. Looks good though and I shall just have to take Henning's word for it. He is exercising his "Freedom of Love" anthemic thoughts through mail art. Thank you very much!

Heebee Post #129 - Wilma Duguay - Bonaventure, Quebec - Canada

"I said, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud. Don't hang around cause two's a crowd. On my cloud Babe"!
Remember that little ditty? Seemed appropriate for this beautiful cloud dream postcard. A lot of the visitors here in the 4th Dimension seem to be floating far above the Island's surface - particularly after an afternoon or evening in the Confuse-a-Tron Lounge.
An adventurous Wilma admits she has over-indulged and can only be described as being happily "in orbit". Remember, heads in the clouds are okay as long as your feet are on the ground my dear. Thank you for this lovely card my friend. Wilma has a new project "The Sea Exhibition" and she would like you to participate: Find it here: wilmaduguay.blogspot.com
