Lothar returns to the 4th Dimension with a postcard from Pokuland. I finally understand that Poku is an abbreviation of Post Kunst (Mail Art). As usual it is dosed heavily with a DaDa influence and art icon Artistamps. Lothar offers a unique glimpse into our Art culture and you can see him in the very center above. Nice 'Planet Dada Rescue' Artistamp too.
Welcome back to the Island dear Lothar and thank you for your very kind words. It is always a treat to find this long time artist on our humble shores. Thank you very much my friend - I will keep in touch!

Heebee Post #378 - Richard F. Yates (Supreme Bunny Warlord) - Longview, Washington - USA
This puzzling evidence is called 'Experiment IV'. The original tiny card was torn in half and plastered down with some heavy clear tape with the note: "Did not meet minimum size standards of 3 1/2" by 5" or 7/1000" thick". Deviant work by the SBW or a Post Office wreck? You decide.
"Experiment IV" also is the name of one of my favorite songs. Find out why here: Experiment IV. (Thank you Miss Bush). Nice to see you here again Richard and thanks very much for your 'puzzling evidence' card - love it!

Heebee Post #377 - Servane Morel - Brussels - Belgium
4th Dimension elements are much the same as their 3rd Dimension counterpart. The dynamics of these elements, however, can be quite different - as seen in this other-world vision of the elementary nature of things.
Servane is back on the Island to serve up one last effort of Heebeeness and it is a dandy! I love those super Artistamps that adorn the reverse side. Is that Servane herself on the right? Very nice! As she notes here, I will be initiating a new Mail Art call soon, but I think I should get a little closer to finishing the great task of documentation for the Heebee Jeebeeland project first. This will take me about a month I think (we'll see). Meanwhile, I'll see you in the mail my dear and thank you very much. Servane is a super Mail Artist and you can check her out here lettres d'aillures and here World Wonders of Mail Art.

Heebee Post #376 - Deb Wilson - Mt. Vernon, Illinois - USA
One cool, cool Kitty in Heebee Jeebee City. This card really conveys that 'hip sensation' a person often feels when vacationing in the 4-D Island Territories. You just know that this hipster will be having a time to remember on her holiday.
Welcome to the Island Deb. Yes, please do hang out here for a while - you are making the place look great! Nice to have that chic appeal and smart fashion to set off the Heebee magic that makes the 4th Dimension go 'round! Thank you very much Deb. Love your card!

Heebee Post #375 - Coralette Damme (the Crafty Hag) - St. Petersburg, Florida - USA
A brilliant move by the Heebee Resort to control a growing traffic problem here on the Island, resulted in the installation of various artistic speed control signs such as the one seen above. Island locals refer to them as the 'Sleeping Policemen'.
Hi Coralette and welcome back. The likeable Hag has returned to Heebee beaches with this fabulous card. It's got Dino-postage on it (I loved those!) and a nice block print Artistamp as well. Very nice to see you here again and thank you very much. You can find Her Craftiness collecting Mail Art here: Dread Lippencott's Menagerie and toiling away in her old shed here: The Crafty Hag.

Heebee Post #374 - Nancy Scali - Claremont, California - USA
This very fragile endoskeleton of a Seahorse is exactly 3" in length. Surrounded in a plastic envelope, it appears as if encased in water. This ATC has a interesting and odd museum like feel to it and is a stunning Mail Art specimen.
Anyone who has ever received one of these cards from Nancy knows they are of fine quality and flawlessly constructed. These 'Lobster Chorus' felines are delicately painted on next to a metallic Red Lobster - the source of their inspiration. Thank you very much Nancy - you will be seeing something from the Island soon in the post. Nancy has a marvelous Mail Art site: Amazing Art Tickles. Pop in - she is one of my faves!

Heebee Post #373 - R.F. Cote' - Quebec, QC - Canada
A happy molecular release is occurring from Reg's new submission to the Heebee Territories. The actual floor of the 4th Dimension jungle can be seen here radiating molecules of pure joy. This makes hiking a lot more enjoyable, especially if you are near a 'Hot Spot' like the one above - hire one of the local guides as these 'Hot Spots' can be difficult to locate by the casual novice here.
Reg returns to the 4th Dimension in good form with this wonderful card of Happiness Stew. It is splendid to find our Canadian friend here again and there are smiles all around the Island. Thank you very much. Reg runs a popular M.A site: R.F.Cote' Mail Art and the very hip Circulaire 132 - check him out.

Heebee Post #372 - C.Z. Lovecraft - San Jose, California - USA
This is a gorgeous classic specimen of an 'Add & Pass' sheet. Like a sort of Mail Art flotsam, this apparently has been cast adrift into the ocean of Mail Artists for some 5 years at least - until it finally found it's way to the 4th Dimension via Mr. Lovecraft. I will add onto it and cast it back into the vast Mail Art sea of Artists.
A beautiful ATC was also included in the Mail Art package of wonders. The gilded looking paper it's on couldn't be scanned properly (for some reason, gold is tough to reproduce through scanning - even with photoshop). Anyway, it is lovelier in person and a very handsome card.
The thick envelope also contained all the goodies seen above - which includes an ATC jam.
And get a load of this super envelope that carried the goods. Sweet! This guy kinda looks like 'Blotto' from the old cartoon strip "Nancy". I never liked that strip, but I loved Blotto! Very Heebee Jeebee! Thank you C.Z. and I shall see you in the mail!

Heebee Post #371 - D.C. Spaulding - Lomita, California - USA
D.C. fondly recalls the 'adventure and mystery' of his Great Aunts garden. As a child, the small stature adds greatly to the amazing grandeur of these floral beauties. I too, recall hours of wonderment and awe in my Mom's garden - a land of sunny magic indeed! I sure knew and felt what he describes below. Like another world. Perhaps my first glimpse of Heebee Jeebeeland was in that lovely garden - so long ago.
Nice to see Spaulding back on the Island with this dreamy bygone Spring/Summer scenario from his childhood memories. You can see his 'Waldo Whitenose' Artistamp proudly displayed on board this memory lane postcard. Thank you very much D.C. - Love this card!

Heebee Post #370 - Joey Patrickt - Oakland, California - USA
The Heebee Jungles are teeming with bounty hauling angels these days. Headed up by the Madonna looking foreman, the holy fruits and vegetables are seen gathered for the Heebee Fruitcake Plantation. The happy CEO of the operation grins as sales projections are up!
Joey was kind enough to send in three submissions to the 4th Dimension. The carrot bathers, seen above, stare idyllically into the 4-D landscape. "Unravel the mystery", one of the Island's current motifs, is posted just above the baths to provoke thought and wonder while at this fascinating facility.Welcome to the Heebee Territories Joey. I was born in Oakland and lived in the Bay Area for most of my life, so I am always happy to see folks from that area here. Heck, I even still wear my Oakland Raiders wristwatch! Thank you very much for these splendid submissions Joey - see you soon in the mail.

Heebee Post #369 - Kris Naylor - Flagstaff, Arizona - USA
The hearty souls that exist on the Trans-4D Frontier are a hearty bunch. Much like the old Wild West, it takes real grit to live out here - True Grit! Just ask Jane Wayne.
Nice to see Kris in the Heebee Saloon as she makes her debut with this fantastic card from the Big Sky Republic. And check that Earth Day Artistamp. Sweet! Thank you very much Kris - glad you are here!

Heebee Post #368 - The Shepherd - Weaverham, Cheshire - UK
I received this interesting looking calamity after answering a mail call for "Tea Time". This turned out to be quite a lively affair. 'Bake me a pie'! Ah yes, Tea Time can be frolicsome! On the reverse side of this card is written: "Thanks for taking Tea with me" - It was my pleasure.
Well, I must say, I have never heard of the 'Roundland' Stores before, but I would love to try one! Is this a chain of stores? 'United Eternal Network' - you don't hear that term too often these days and that is kind of sad. Anyway, a Fluxus buck that I will add onto and send out and a cool ATC.

Thank you very much for this lovely mail art package my dear Shepherd. It was quite nice taking tea with you and now you are here having fun in the Heebee Territories! Thanks again!

Heebee Post #367 - William L. Philyaw (Collaboration with Test Tower) - Shawnee, Kansas - USA
William and I decided to collaborate once again and here is the result of our recent effort. We haven't worked together on a piece for quite a while and I am glad this worked out for us. Hopefully, we will be doing some more of these from time to time. I love working with this brilliant Artist - we seem to share a common vision. Thank you William! If you would like to see some of William's other work, check here: Not Art and here: Marconi News. I think this turned out rather well old boy!
Heebee Post #366 - Kiki Desvaux - Le Vigen - France
Some of the utensils used to create the magic that is lovingly manufactured in the Heebee Resort kitchen. Although appearing to be quite normal, these galley tools, in the hands of the Island chefs, produce sumptuous meals that are widely renown across the 4-D Territories.
Kiki returns to the dimension of enchantment with this marvelous assortment to enrich the culinary adventures that are delighting all who vacation here. Kiki is a friendly and spirited Artist who is a favorite here and is greatly enjoyed by Island locals. 'Food Party' is the merry disposition for the day! Kiki's super Mail Art sites can be found here: MA Creations and MA Received. She really is one of the most jolly Mail Artists around - Thank you my friend!

Heebee Post #365 - Eduardo Cardoso - Sines - Portugal
In the market for a new organ or two? On the left - this 4th Dimension menu offers a great selection of fine working human parts and Heebee Island is the place to get a wonderful deal on them. No silly rules, no waiting and plenty of organs to go around, thanks to the unrestricted cloning of parts that is done extensively here. On the right - a rubbing of a gas main cover lid - it is actually a large A4 size.
It is very nice to find Eddie back in the 4th Dimension Territories having a grand time of it. His "Paranormal Mail Art" site is a great place to visit and something from the 4th Should be arriving there soon. Thank you very much Eddie - it is always a pleasure to have you on the Island.

Heebee Post #364 - Frips - Gent - Belgium
Frips's lovely cat demonstrates just how luxurious life can be with the proper outlook. Stretching out and relaxing , completely without worry or concern, is indeed a neat trick - illustrated perfectly in Frips' fine feline postcard.
Once again, dear Frips manages to get that odd Heebee Jungle appeal with unique Mail Art style that Islanders here have become joyously accustomed to. Thank you very much. She runs the popular Frips Mail Art site and it is a great site to find out about what is going on in the MA world.
