Concept wrangler Cheryl Penn returns to the Affair with the Artistbook tale of "Lost Londelozi". This is actually her contribution to her own "Project 26" for the letter "L" - and a fanciful job she made of it!
According to her note, Lost Londelozi is comprised of "Love found, love betrayed, a tortoise, not a horse, love lost, an archaeological finding - and the good news - the story of unrequited love will never be over".
The reference table for the elaborate tale is a great yarn just in itself. Cheryl's wording is always picturesque and pathos filled with her descriptive excursions. The right lower panel is a remarkable "Special Report" of Cheryl's ongoing theme of "Women who hold up the world" and their effect on history - particularly that the Trojan Horse was actually a Tortoise!
The mysterious tale of Lost Londelozi arrived in this colorful envelope with Cheryl's infamous "Zalop" Fluxus word seen clearly on the reverse side. Cheryl's work is always entertaining and well crafted and the Affair is always delighted to find her here. Thank you very much. Cheryl Penn Artworks.
