Oh the beautiful and astonishing panorama of the vast Heebee Territories - especially when seen from a bird's eye view. Flying has never been easier in the 4th Dimension with the new Outboard Headgear. Simple to operate and a nice strapless snug fit - Yes, the entire family can be now be airborne! A 4-D exclusive!
I really love postage from countries that no longer exist - such as that French Equatorial Africa stamp seen above. Sometimes that's all it takes to embark on an armchair adventure for me!
William's lovely array of vintage U.S. postage is a sight in itself! Yes, I remember these fondly, except for the 'Ike' stamp - can't recall that one - but, forgive me here, "I like Ike". It is always a fine day in the 4th when William drops in with his spectacular brand of imagination charged Mail Art. Thanks my old friend. You can find William's collection of MA here: Addressee and also his own awesome work: Marconi News. William and I are doing some collaborating and will have something to show here very soon (I am working on that right now).

Heebee Post #362 - Penelope Samuel - Longview, Washington - USA
This cool ATC was sent in by Penelope Samuel from neighboring Longview. The second Artist in the nearby town this month to have something in Heebee Jeebeeland. This friendly and playful little fellow seems to be enjoying himself here on the Island. I'm sure he will find some playmates here soon! Thank you very much Penelope and welcome to the 4th Dimension.

Heebee Post #361 - Marianne Laimer - Viklau, Gotland - Sweden
This card is looking strangely dangerous and creepy - like something awful is about to happen, but I'm not exactly sure what that would be. Doesn't this make you want to yell "Watch Out!"? Is this perfectly sinister and grimly fiendish or is it just me?Marianne returns to the Heebee Territories with this puzzling evidence postcard. I must say that her unusual cards are of a high quality and very well made. This is actually two cards sewn together - you can see the stitches in the corners. You can see what else is cooking in Marianneland here: Den Skuplturala Boken. You'll agree that she is a clever Artist with a wicked sense of humor. Thank you very much Marianne, you are one of my faves.
Heebee Post #360 - Coralette Damme (The Crafty Hag) - St. Petersburg, Florida - USA
Heebee Love Bugs are popping up everywhere this Spring. The 4th Dimension jungles are just teeming with the adorable and romantic pests. As Dino used to croon: "That's Amore" or "Das ist die Liebe" - in view of the "auf Deutsch".
Coralette dances once again on Heebee shores with her happy German Bugorama card. Very nice - I'm a bit of a romantic myself! And dig that crazy Artistamp! Great card my dear Hag! Thank you very much and nice to see you here again. You can check her MA site here: Dread Lippencott's Menagerie and also find her hawking her fine wares here: The Crafty Hag.

Heebee Post #359 - Lady Belknap- Arcata, California - USA
Lady sends in a handsome set of ATCs adorned with some entertaining visual poetry on the reverse sides. The boy on the pony looks much like me when I was a lad. I have a snap just like this - eerie. And that bottom one: Johannes Brahms? In any event, they are great cards.
This series of little "Parking Services" fee envelopes cleverly bound together provides a very interesting way to convey ATC's safely to their destination. Each card happy and snug in it's own compartment. Welcome to the 4th Dimension Lady - the Islanders are adoring your delivery technique and your cool cards. Thank you very much.

Heebee Post #358 - Rachel Fasig (collaboration with Test Tower) - No. Lewisburg, Ohio - USA
Collaborative efforts can often produce interesting results - such as this one by Rachel and myself. I really like the way this turned out.
Shown here is the before and after of Rachel's mini-project. I will be doing a few more of these from time to time with a few different Mail Artists in the relatively near future. Stay tuned!
Welcome back to the Island Rachel. It was fun mixing it up together. Thank you very much. I will be turning this into a postcard to send off to you. At the bottom of her note she asks if she left me enough room. Heh-heh. Yes, yes - plenty of room my considerate friend.

Heebee Post #357 - Ross Priddle (Bentspoon) - Calgary, Alberta - Canada
Canuck Fluxist Ross Priddle joins the 4th Dimensional action by sending in his little zine "gar #55". This is a pot pourri of Mail Art, Fluxus and visual poetry with some rather notable contributors. The above piece by John Held Jr is a fantastic poster that served as the back cover to the wonderful little booklet. Other contributing Artists included Serse Luigetti, Rita McNamara, Jennifer Zoellner, Allan Revich, Thompson (see the triumphant looking piece above), Pascal Lenoir, Mike Dickau, Perro Verlag and, of course, the master of ceremonies - Ross himself. A pretty stout group indeed!
Nice to have you on the Island Ross and thank you very much for this great zine. Of the very interesting poetry in the booklet by Ross, is the ponderous line "There is music in the ink" - I couldn't agree more my friend! You can check out his Bentspoon site to see more regarding the works of this long time Mail Artist. It's worth the trip!

Heebee Post #356 - Kit Gonzales Moore - Albuquerque, New Mexico - USA
Alien abduction or Dancing with the Space Stars? This is quite a gem folks. Acrylic on cardboard and very vibrant with superbly wonderful detail.
This beautiful mail art box arrived a bout a week ago with it's sides viciously crunched in. After some careful restorative surgery by a Heebee med team, we were able to present this mini-masterpiece in pretty fair shape.
Very nice to have Kit back on the Island - especially with a mail art treasure like this one. Thank you very much my dear friend. Your Art is marvelous and out of this world!

Heebee Post #355 - Richard F. Yates (Supreme Bunny Warlord) - Longview, Washington - USA
A good old fashioned spiritual cleansing is one of the many services offered here on Heebee Island. Richard will leave his unwanted parasite guest here in the 4th Dimension and return home from his vacation a much better man with a new spring in his step!
A Window Teaser, according to Richard, is something you see in a store window that promises to change your life - but after you buy it and take it home, your life remains unchanged. Unlike and in sharp contrast to Heebee Vacations.
Welcome to the 4th Dimension my friend. Island locals are getting quite a kick out of Richards chaotic art. These pics are actually taken from the little Zine he sent in. Very unusual entertainment but quite cool. Thank you Richard.

Heebee Post #354 - Boo Cartledge - Louisville, Kentucky - USA
Cosmic particles and a sew-a-bunny. The fabric that makes up the 4th Dimension can often include the most unlikely features. Cosmic sew-a-bunnies, long considered to be mythical, do in fact exist and are a treat to behold. Like a "Blue Moon" they are not seen regularly and are sometimes regarded as omens here on Heebee Island. Boo's 4-D history lesson (upper left) is an interesting fact as well.
"My real Mail Tree"! Boo says she became tired of putting her Mail Art into a box and so dragged home a large Willow tree branch to display her treasures of the post. She named her living room show in humorous reference to Andy T Geezer's "My Real Wall". Boo, you are a gas! Great cards! You can find out what is on her mind here: It's only a book. Thank you very much.

Heebee Post #353 - Servane Morel - Brussels - Belgium
The Heebee Jungle comes alive and gives a new meaning to the term "Wildflowers" in this 4th Dimensional dance number that has audiences in the Confuse-A-Tron Lounge going gaga! There is no bigger fan of Servane's marvelous work than Heebee Jeebeeland and this one is another beauty from her playful genius mind.
Servane brings up a good point here. Yes, the deadline for the Heebee Jeebee mail call show is nearly up (June 1). So let me explain what is happening here. The Mail Art public showing is now for June 20th, but does not look like it will happen that soon because the Gallery is relocating across the street from it's former location - here in Centralia. This is taking longer than expected and so the Heebee Jeebee Mail Art show (which is the opening show for this gallery) will have to be postponed until the new spot is finished. Evidently, it will be well into the summer and so I will let this site continue at least until then or even indefinitely (there seems to be some popular demand)!

I will be introducing a new Mail Art call very soon in addition to the 4th Dimension - I know some are a bit tired of Heebee Island and need new adventure horizons (me among them). So stay tuned here for a new development which will be heralded in from this humble site very soon.
As for Servane: There are a few Mail Artists that I like as much, but none I like more than this one. I adore her work and she never fails to entertain fabulously! Thank you my lovely friend. You can find Servane weaving her magic here: Lettres d'ailleurs and also here: Marvels of the World.
Heebee Post #352 - Bea Neal - Verona, Wisconsin - USA
Sixes and Fishes - an interesting 4th Dimension good luck combo that is a nice treat for the eyes as well. A superbly crafted collage showing off the thriving Heebee Fish Market!
Bea Neal arrives on the Island's shores with this beautiful 4-D colorful and vibrant fish-tale postcard. You can almost hear the salty banter of the wharf folk as they wrap up today's oceanic fortune. Bea is the mind of the very entertaining Dog in the hole studios. A good read and 4-D approved! Thank you very much Bea!

Heebee Post #351 - Stan Askew - Pasadena, California - USA
Simply beautiful. The four pictures (a stone Buddha) and the sign for eternity in all four. A wonderful symbolism for the 4th Dimension. All of that in a peaceful and serene jungle environment of wonders (Heebee Island). Welcome back to the 4th Dimension Territories Stan. This is a fabulous postcard and indicative of his usual fine work. The Islanders are always in a happy state when Stan comes a callin'. Check out his brilliant collages and Photo site: Photo Askew.

Heebee Post #350 - Samuel Montalvetti - Buenos Aries - Argentina
You can almost feel the crackling of energy in this incredible other dimensional masterpiece! Samuel really nailed it on this one. Brilliant and Fluxurreal! I love it! 4-D-Agogo!
Inside a jammed envelope were these little gems - Projects, add & pass and various fluxus items to interest and astound!
Dada/Fluxus creations are always fun and Samuel is very good at them. The ones above are like the Heebee Jeebee Want Ads and coupons!
Welcome to the 4th Dimension Samuel. I love this package of your special brand of Fluxus Mail Art - fantastic! These rubber stamps on the envelope are really cool too. Samuel has really got it goin' on. Check out his Mail Art sites: Art Correo and Art correo de mis amigos. Thank you very much my friend. I will be working on this stuff this next week. See ya in the mail.

Heebee Post #349 - RCBz - St. Cloud, Minnesota - USA
"The Chorus bolted when the Diva ran amok". Nice! Performances can sometimes become out of control in the Confuse-A-Tron Lounge stage area. Actually, it was her unusual modern dance moves that frightened everyone!
RCBz is back in Heebee action with this lively postcard. Her cards are very well made and are "Quite the show", as she writes on the reverse side. The 4th Dimension is really enjoying Mail Art from this Artist - Thank you very much my friend.

Heebee Post #348 - Bifidus Jones - St. Paul, Minnesota - USA
No doubt who the boss is here. This handsome Devil is about to enjoy a yummy breakfast served up in the Heebee Tree Cafe. A very nicely hewn postcard - I love the construction technique and it has a great feel to it as well.
Welcome to the 4th Dimension Bifidus. This really is a great submission - with an odd vintage looking Heebee appeal. Thank you very much my friend - great job! You can view a few of his wonderful works here: Bifidus IUOMA page.

Heebee Post #347 - Katerina Nikoltsou - Thessaloniki - Greece
Eyjafjallajokull! The disgruntled Icelandic volcano has been crowding out European airspace lately, but Katerina has found a way to make that nasty ash appear beautiful! I love the fiery cauldron she has depicted here in this gorgeous card!
Katerina has become a familiar figure on Heebee Island and a favorite among the locals. I like the "Moon Mail Greek" and the IUOMA Artistamps as well.
One hot card from one cool character. Thank you very much Katerina, it is always a pleasure to find you in the 4th Dimension. I hope the troubles in your country calm down soon - it is a wonderful Place.

Heebee Post #346 Eduardo Cardoso - Sines - Portugal
Eddie is really capturing the spirit of the 4th Dimension with this eye-popping whopper - Adventurous, mysterious, sensual. This is a large A4 sized effort and it is stupendous.
"Pansofismo em Destilacao Imcubada" = "Pansophic incubated in distillation". Eddie sure has a nice way with words. Pansophic means universal wisdom or knowledge. As usual, he beguiles and entertains!
Always good to find "Paranormal Mail Art" washed up on Heebee Shores! Nice to see you again Eddie. Great work my friend. You can check this Artists Mail Art site here: Paranormal Mail Art. Thank you very Much!

Heebee Post #345 - Valery Shimanovsky - Nizhekamsk, Tartastan - Russia
I wish I understood Cyrillic. This happy and festive looking event is a superb postcard. A wedding? A honeymoon in the 4th Dimension would be a nice choice for the Whirlish dancing duo.
I really enjoy Valery's work and am delighted to see him visiting the Island once again. I love those interesting rubber stampings and the great Russian postage too. He also asks for a USA 25 cent piece for his collection. There are a lot to choose from these days - I'll get one out to ya my friend. Thank you very much.

Heebee Post #344 - Joan Desmond - Lake Isabella, California - USA
Reach out your hand, so that I may grasp it and pull you to safety. Wow, this is a fabulous card Joan. Like mankind groping into the mysterious, seeking desperately to understand - in perfect spirit with the 4th Dimension.
It's marvelous to see Joan frolicking in Heebee Jeebeeland with this glorious postcard. This is a large and beautiful submission and I am having a tough time taking my mind away from it (Help! It's pulling me in!). I adore this card. Thank you very much Joan.

Heebee Post #343 - Art Tower (Gunter Schwind) - Aschaffenburg - Germany
Cousin Arty shares a snap he took of a Heebee Jeebee Bird that took a fancy to him during his last visit here on the Island. Nice Artistamp too!
It's nice to know that Arty always has a great time of it when visiting the 4th. His unusual antics can sometimes lead to trouble. But, as we are often wont to say here, "Fortune favors the bold"! Thank you very much my friend. You can find Gunter's MA site here: Art Tower's Mail Art.
