Heebee Post #1004 - Remy Penard - Limoges - France

Well known long time mail artist, Remy Penard, sends in this frolicsome effort to the 4th Dimension. I have been an admirer of his work for a long while and since this is the first from Penard, I am quite amused by it!

An interestingly odd parallel between the two features on the card. That is Remy's work on the left and an artistamp by Lotro Poku (Lothar Trott) adjacent to it on the right.

I love the Musee rubber stamping - a trademark Penard feature as is the fellow that looks as if he is drawing a pistol from under his shirt. I'm very happy you stopped by the Land of Extra Freedom Remy. Thank you very much and see you in the mail.

When I was a kid, there was an old cartoon I saw many times on TV. While a child was sleeping, the unusual wallpaper all over his room came to life and began to dance back and forth, up and down in a rather fanciful symmetry accompanied by a sort of goofy graveyard mischief music. All manner of mayhem went on until the sun shone again at dawn and the dancing pranksters rushed back to their original spots and the wallpaper became still again. It is in the vicinity of that realm that Heebee Jeebeeland exists.
